Sponsorship

In addition to considering direct applications from the graduate website, we also have links with selected UK universities. Sponsorship is offered to those already studying for or due to start a relevant degree course who are prepared to undertake a minimum of an eight-week placement. If you receive sponsorship, it’s expected you’ll complete your placement and, at the end of your course, we would hope to offer you a full-time place on one of our graduate schemes.
If the university you are currently studying at, or planning to study at, is not mentioned below, you may still receive sponsorship following a vacation or industrial placement with us.

The University of Nottingham
Sponsorships commence in the second year of the Civil Engineering degree course, following the successful completion of a summer placement. Sponsored students receive a bursary payment of £1,500 per academic year.

Loughborough University
Sponsorships are awarded from the start of the Civil Engineering degree course, with a bursary payment of £1,500 per academic year, the opportunity of summer placement work and a 12-month industrial training position in year three.

University of Birmingham
At the University of Birmingham we award sponsorships from the second year of the Civil Engineering course through the ‘Respect’ training scheme. Sponsorship provides students with a bursary payment of £1,500 per academic year and a summer vacation placement.

University of Surrey
Sponsorships are awarded from the start of the Civil Engineering degree course through the UniS/ICE Scholarship Scheme. A scholarship of £1,750 per academic year is awarded to successful students together with a summer vacation placement at the end of each academic year.

Northumbria University
We award sponsorships from the start of Quantity Surveying courses at Northumbria University. Sponsored students receive a bursary payment of between £1,200 and £1,500 per academic year and a 12-month industrial training period in year three.

Nottingham Trent University
We award sponsorships from the start of Quantity Surveying courses at Nottingham Trent University. Sponsored students receive a bursary payment of between £1,200 and £1,500 per academic year and a 12-month industrial training period in year three.

Loughborough University
If you’re a Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying student at Loughborough, you could be sponsored with a bursary of £1,500 per academic year and a 12-month industrial training period in year three.

In the first instance, please contact the relevant institution to obtain further information and advice on proceeding with your sponsorship application.
