Balfour Beatty Plc’s preferred charity in 2007 is NCH, the UK’s leading children’s charity. Balfour Beatty has a matched funding policy to support its chosen charity.
In 2005 and 2006 Balfour Beatty supported Marie Curie Cancer Care with employee organised charity events that included marathon running, golf days, five-a-side football tournaments and participation in the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
In total, £220,000 was raised through a combination of employee’s efforts across the Balfour Beatty Group and matched funding from the company.
