About Us
Balfour Beatty Rail Technologies was established less than 10 years ago and during this short time we have increased from a team of three to more than 60 employees. Each year we continue to grow and are now a seen as a leading innovator within the rail industry.
Our primary objective is simple: we aim to introduce new technology to improve the performance of the railway. How we achieve this is more complex and we retain a strong Research & Development team who are constantly working to develop step change solutions.
Types of roles
We offer a wide range of opportunities for Engineers, Technicians and Support Staff. In fact we employ all the major engineering disciplines in addition to many of the specialist ones. Roles within our business are diverse and include; Development Engineer, NDT (Non Destructive Testing) Technician, Signalling Product Manager, and Software Development Engineer.
Our activities are so diverse that it is possible to experience a career, which encompasses all aspects of a project life cycle from design, development and consultancy work to practical site project implementation and on-track activities.
